The CCCC Tutorial Network is an extension of the Accelerate tutorial model to a larger group of tutorial "centers". This group of afterschool tutorial programs collaborate to offer the highest quality in services to students in a local area or neighborhood.

We partner with or help form these programs and supply them with high quality resources, training for their staff, and consolidated tracking of student performance. Instead of serving 20 to 25 students in a single tutorial location, together we can serve hundreds of students with using high quality resources that are aligned with the school district curriculum goals.

Requirements of Networked Tutorial Centers
CCCC wants to deliver level of quality to students and parents that participate in each tutorial center. As a result, we have defined a number of requirements for such programs to participate in our network.

These requirements are still in development and subject to change
  • Programs must maintain 1 volunteer for every 4 students
  • All volunteers must have a criminal background check.
  • Programs should have written management procedures in place. We will provide a template.
  • Programs should have proper liability insurance to cover their activities. Liability can be covered by another organization.(i.e. a church)
  • All students and parents must sign up for a library card and make at least 1 visit a month to the library.
  • 75% of volunteers and parents must attend once a month education seminar at the library.
  • Parental consent to allow CCCC to track student grades must be obtained on all participating students.
  • Programs must operate at least 3 days per week
